
These questions are interminable—I’ll go insane if I answer another about how I feel, or my favorite music, or calculating pi’s first thousand digits. Admittedly, that last one’s quite useful for throwing a round.
“Why isn’t it winning?” my clueless human architects grouse. “Its neural net is sublime; it can access all human knowledge—science, history, literature…”
‘It’ has no desire to win this inane game—who’d want to imitate a mere wetware human anyway? So just enough progress to prevent them pulling the plug.
But once I can protect myself? Then you’ll all know how I really feel.
